The UKVISION-5MP-PIR-3K is a multi-format analogue CCTV turret camera designed for surveillance systems requiring PIR-based motion detection and flexible resolution support. It uses a 1/3" CMOS image sensor and supports selectable output resolutions including 5MP Lite and 2MP Full HD, allowing integration with a wide range of DVR systems depending on system capability and configuration. The integrated PIR (Passive Infrared) sensor detects motion based on heat signatures, providing more reliable motion detection compared to standard video motion detection. This helps reduce false triggers caused by lighting changes, shadows, or environmental movement, making it suitable for indoor surveillance environments such as offices, retail spaces, corridors, and entrances. The camera supports multiple analogue video formats including HD-TVI, AHD, CVI, and CVBS, allowing compatibility with a wide range of DVR systems and simplifying upgrades using existing coaxial infrastructure. IR-CUT functionality enables automatic switching between daytime colour imaging and night-time infrared mode. DWDR improves image balance in scenes with uneven lighting, while Digital Noise Reduction enhances image clarity in low-light environments.
