Where Google Analytics is used we enable IP anonymisation, but Google may still use the data for their own purposes; their practices are governed by Google's privacy policy.

Security and account-activity cookies
These are set only once you are signed in. They let us keep an accurate record of activity on your account — which is how we investigate a disputed order, a suspected account takeover, or fraud. We rely on our legitimate interest in keeping accounts and payments secure, rather than on consent, because a security record that anyone could switch off would not be a security record.

Analytics and usage cookies

Your Choice, and How to Change It
When you first visit, we ask whether to accept all cookies or only the essential ones. Until you choose, we set no analytics cookies and record no browsing — an unanswered banner counts as a refusal, not as permission.
Choosing Essential only deletes the analytics identifiers rather than simply ignoring them, so nothing keeps tracking you afterwards. If your browser sends a "Do Not Track" signal we honour it and skip analytics cookies regardless of what the banner says.
To change your mind later, delete this site's cookies in your browser (see below) and reload the page — the banner will appear again and your new choice will apply.
One thing consent does not switch off: if you are signed in, we keep a record of activity on your account for security and fraud prevention, and to resolve disputes about orders and payments. We rely on our legitimate interest for that rather than consent, because a security record anyone could disable would not protect anyone.
