A CCTV kit pairs a DVR or NVR with a set number of cameras and a pre-sized hard drive, so channel count, PoE budget and storage are already resolved as one part. This range spans 4, 8, 16 and 32-channel recorders from Hikvision, Dahua, Longse, Tiandy and Prolux, with analogue (DVR/HD-TVI) and network (NVR/PoE) builds paired to 2MP–4K cameras.
How to choose
- Channel count vs cameras fitted: kits here range from 4-channel/1-camera (e.g. Hikvision iDS-7204HUHI-M1/XT with one 4K camera) up to 32-channel/6-camera (Hikvision DS-7732NI-M4/24P), so pick headroom for future additions, not just current camera count.
- DVR vs NVR: DVR kits (Prolux, Dahua XVR, Hikvision HUHI) use coax HD-TVI cameras; NVR kits (Longse, Tiandy, Hikvision NI-series) run PoE IP cameras over a single network cable per camera.
- PoE-enabled recorders: models such as the DS-7616NI-M2/16P and DS-7732NI-M4/24P have built-in PoE ports, removing the need for separate injectors.
- Camera resolution: mixed 2MP, 4MP, 5MP and 4K cameras across the range — match resolution to storage, since higher resolution consumes drive capacity faster.

What's the difference between a DVR kit and an NVR kit?
DVR kits use coax-connected HD-TVI cameras, while NVR kits use IP cameras over network cable, often with PoE ports built into the recorder for single-cable power and data.
Do these kits include a hard drive?
Yes, each kit in this range comes with a pre-fitted HDD, sized from 6TB up to 14TB depending on the model.
Can I add more cameras than are included in the kit?
Most recorders support more channels than the cameras supplied out of the box — for example the 32-channel DS-7732NI-M4/24P ships with 6 cameras, leaving spare channels for expansion, though this depends on the specific model.
