A 26 camera kit gives large sites — multi-storey blocks, warehouses, forecourts, campuses — enough channels to cover perimeter, entrances and internal areas from a single recorder, with headroom for a handful of spare channels on a 32-channel NVR/DVR.
Every kit in this range pairs 25–26 cameras with a 32-channel recorder, so there are always a few channels free for future additions. Resolutions across the range run from 2MP to 5MP, with at least one 4K option, and camera types include fixed bullet, fixed dome and 2MP PTZ, sometimes mixed within the same kit (e.g. 25 PTZ plus 1 bullet).
How to choose
- Camera mix: bullet-only kits suit straightforward perimeter runs; kits blending PTZ units with bullets suit sites needing active tracking on key approaches alongside fixed coverage elsewhere.
- Resolution: 5MP kits give finer detail for identification tasks; 2MP kits reduce storage and bandwidth demands where wide coverage matters more than close-up detail.
- Storage: recording capacity varies by kit, from a single 6TB drive up to multiple 8TB or 12TB drives across 2–4 bays — match this to your required retention period.
- Recorder model: part numbers vary between kits (e.g. DS-7332HQHI, IDS-7332HUHI) — check compatibility with any existing Hikvision estate before mixing generations.
