Dahua WizSense XVR5104HS-I3 4 Channel 4K AI Penta-brid CCTV DVR

The XVR5104HS-I3 is a 4-channel penta-brid recorder that accepts HDCVI, AHD, TVI, CVBS or IP camera inputs on the same box. That flexibility matters on retrofit jobs where you're mixing legacy analogue runs with new IP additions.

Channel and resolution ceiling

Analogue channels record up to 4K; the same DVR handles IP camera streams up to 8MP, so a single recorder can serve as the hub for a mixed analogue/IP install without swapping hardware mid-job.

WizSense AI analytics

• Face recognition with a database capacity of up to 20,000 face images, processing up to 8 faces per second with real-time recognition on two channels
• SMD Plus human/vehicle classification active on all 4 channels, cutting false triggers from foliage, shadows and other non-target motion
• Tripwire and intrusion detection with secondary object classification for perimeter jobs

Storage and compression

H.265+ and AI Coding compression keep bitrate down for a given retention target. One SATA bay takes a single HDD up to 10TB — plan retention calculations around that single-drive ceiling rather than assuming multi-bay headroom.

Display and network

HDMI output runs to 4K with simultaneous VGA, useful where you need a spot monitor alongside a main 4K display. Remote access is via Dahua's DMSS app, and the unit is ONVIF-compatible for third-party integration.

Suitable for retail, office, warehouse and small commercial sites where AI analytics on a mixed camera estate is the requirement, not just channel count.
