Recorder capacity
5 cameras supplied, taking 5 of 8 recorder channels. 3 channels spare for expansion. Adding cameras? Confirm the recorder takes their resolution, has the bandwidth to record them and has power/PoE ports free.
Recording storage
2TB storage supplied. Retention: around 18 days on continuous H.265. Based on 1 Mbps to 2MP, 2 Mbps to 5MP and 4 Mbps over 5MP — per camera, summed across mixed models. On site, retention moves with recorder settings, scene activity and usable HDD capacity; with motion-only recording, expect it to vary with activity.
Before installation
Check the box list for supplied cables, PSUs and mounting accessories. Size cable runs and camera positions to the site — camera count alone doesn't establish coverage. Per position: lens field of view, lighting, weather protection — confirm all three.
