The Prolux 4MP PoC eyeball camera is designed for analogue HD surveillance systems using Power over Coax (PoC) technology, enabling both video transmission and power delivery through a single coaxial cable. It provides a maximum video resolution of 2560 × 1440, delivering clear and detailed surveillance suitable for residential, commercial, and industrial installations. Equipped with a fixed 2.8mm lens, the camera offers a wide field of view appropriate for monitoring entrances, corridors, perimeter areas, retail environments, and external building zones. The eyeball turret housing allows flexible positioning during installation, ensuring accurate scene alignment. The integrated infrared illumination provides night vision capability up to 50 metres, allowing reliable monitoring in complete darkness. True Day/Night functionality ensures automatic switching between colour imaging during daylight and infrared night mode using an IR cut filter. The built-in microphone enables audio recording over coaxial cable when connected to compatible PoC DVR systems. This allows simultaneous video and audio capture without requiring additional audio wiring. The camera is fully compatible with Hikvision and HiLook PoC DVR platforms, making it suitable for system upgrades or new installations using PoC infrastructure. Its design supports both indoor and outdoor installations depending on enclosure rating and mounting location.
