The Hikvision DS-2DE4A425IW-DE is a professional 4 MP network PTZ camera designed for long-range surveillance in commercial, industrial and large-area security applications. It uses a 1/2.8″ progressive scan CMOS sensor capable of delivering video resolutions up to 2560 × 1440 at high frame rates, ensuring clear image detail for monitoring wide environments.

The camera features a 25× optical zoom lens (4.8–120 mm) combined with 16× digital zoom, enabling operators to monitor wide scenes and zoom in on distant objects without significant loss of detail. This makes the camera suitable for monitoring car parks, perimeters, public areas and large facilities.

For night surveillance, the integrated infrared illumination provides visibility up to 50 metres, allowing the camera to capture images in complete darkness. The system also includes 120 dB wide dynamic range (WDR) and low-light technology to improve image clarity in challenging lighting conditions.

The PTZ mechanism supports 360° continuous pan and tilt movement from −5° to 90°, enabling the camera to monitor multiple zones or follow subjects across large areas. Advanced intelligent functions such as intrusion detection, line-crossing detection and smart tracking enhance automated surveillance capabilities.

With an IP66-rated weather-resistant housing, the camera is suitable for outdoor installations in environments such as transport hubs, industrial sites, public squares, warehouses and perimeter security systems.
