The ProLux PXD-5208AN-4KL-X/8P is an 8-channel penta-brid digital video recorder designed for professional CCTV surveillance systems requiring compatibility across multiple analogue and IP camera technologies. It supports HDCVI, HDTVI, AHD, CVBS analogue cameras, as well as IP cameras in hybrid mode, allowing flexible system deployment and easy upgrades from legacy installations. This recorder supports IP camera inputs with resolutions up to 8MP, providing high-definition video recording suitable for commercial, industrial, and residential security applications. Advanced H.265+ and H.265 dual-stream compression significantly reduces storage consumption and network bandwidth requirements, allowing extended recording duration without compromising image quality. The integrated PoC (Power over Coax) functionality allows compatible cameras to receive both power and video transmission over a single coaxial cable, simplifying installation and reducing infrastructure costs. The unit supports Lite series and Pro series PoC cameras depending on configuration. With incoming bandwidth support of up to 48 Mbps, expandable to 96 Mbps depending on mode, the recorder ensures stable video transmission and recording performance. Smart Search and Intelligent Video System features improve event detection and playback efficiency.
