Product Description
DS-7208HGHI is an 8-channel 1080p 1U DVR built on H.265 compression, supplied with a 1TB hard drive pre-installed.
For installers, that means the recorder is ready to deploy on arrival — no separate HDD sourcing or fitting required before commissioning an 8-camera site.
Key specs
- Channels: 8
- Resolution: 1080p
- Compression: H.265
- Form factor: 1U
- Storage: 1TB HDD, pre-installed
On the job
The 1U chassis suits standard rack or shelf installs where space is limited. H.265 compression keeps file sizes down against older H.264 recorders, useful when planning storage budgets across multi-camera systems. As an 8-channel unit, this DVR is sized for small-to-medium sites — retail units, small offices, or residential installs — where a full NVR/PoE switch setup isn't required.
Because the 1TB drive ships fitted, this is a genuinely turnkey box for jobs where the client wants recording live on day one without a return visit to install storage.
