Product Description
Hikvision 8MP 8-ch DVR H.265 AcuSense Recorder (IDS-7208HUHI-M1/E) — 8-channel, 8MP-capable 1U hybrid DVR built for mixed analogue/IP estates where installers need to keep options open on camera generation and topology.
Key specs
- Inputs: 8 analogue channels (HDTVI/AHD/CVI/CVBS) plus IP camera support on the same chassis
- Encoding: up to 8MP @ 8fps or 5MP @ 12fps, H.265 Pro+ compression for reduced bitrate/storage
- IP capacity: up to 16 network cameras can be connected in enhanced mode
- Storage: single SATA interface, up to 10TB
- Video out: HDMI (up to 4K) and VGA (Full HD)
- Network: Hik-Connect remote access, ONVIF-compatible
AcuSense analytics
Motion Detection 2.0 applies deep-learning classification to separate human and vehicle targets from other motion, cutting false alarms triggered by environmental changes or lighting variations. Intrusion detection and line-crossing are included for perimeter jobs.
Migration path
Hybrid architecture means an existing analogue install can add IP cameras incrementally rather than a forklift upgrade — useful where budget or cabling constrains a full NVR swap in one phase.
Also listed as IDS-7208HUHI-M1/S and iDS-7208HUHI-M1/S+NO-HDD.
