The Hikvision iDS-7208HUHI-K2/4S is an 8-channel Turbo AcuSense DVR designed for professional hybrid surveillance systems requiring intelligent detection and flexible camera compatibility. It supports HDTVI, AHD, CVI, CVBS, and IP camera inputs, allowing seamless integration with existing analog infrastructure while supporting expansion using IP cameras up to 8MP resolution.
The recorder integrates AcuSense deep learning technology, enabling Motion Detection 2.0 with accurate human and vehicle classification. This significantly reduces false alarms caused by environmental motion such as shadows, animals, or lighting changes. Perimeter protection features including line crossing detection and intrusion detection enhance overall security monitoring accuracy.
Recording supports resolutions up to 8MP at 8 frames per second using H.265 Pro+ compression technology to optimize storage efficiency and reduce bandwidth consumption. HDMI output supports up to 4K resolution, while VGA output allows flexible local display configuration.
Storage capacity is expandable via two SATA interfaces supporting up to 10TB per hard drive, providing a maximum storage capacity of 20TB. The recorder also supports NAS and iSCSI network storage for scalable external storage integration. Remote access is supported via Hik-Connect, ONVIF compatibility, and standard network protocols, making it suitable for commercial and industrial surveillance applications.
