Product Description
Gigabit PoE Extender 100m RJ45 802.3af/at
An inline repeater for extending PoE runs beyond the standard 100m Ethernet limit — adds up to a further 100 metres of cable reach while regenerating both data and power at Gigabit speed.
Fit it between a PoE switch or injector and the far-end device on jobs where a camera or access point sits further out than a single Cat5e/6 run allows: warehouses, car parks, long external runs on larger sites.
Key specs
- Extends PoE transmission distance by up to 100 metres
- Compatible with IEEE 802.3af and 802.3at PoE standards
- Gigabit Ethernet data transmission support
- RJ45 PoE input and PoE output ports
- Powered directly from the PoE input — no separate power supply required
- Plug and play — no configuration on site
- Compact metal housing with passive cooling vents
Installation notes
The extender is powered entirely by the upstream PoE source, so there's no mains drop needed at the extension point — useful where running separate power to a remote enclosure isn't practical. It's installed inline, splitting one long run into two segments, with the unit regenerating the signal and power partway along.
It's built for PoE IP cameras, wireless access points and other PoE-enabled network kit on 802.3af/at infrastructure — check your switch or injector's PoE budget against the connected device before adding it into the run.
