Two independent 280kg magnets sit in one housing, giving 560kg combined holding force across both door leaves. Each leaf gets its own armature plate, so the doors lock and release as separate magnetic circuits rather than sharing a single field.

How it operates
Current supplied to the magnet holds the armature plate against the housing; removing power (via controller, keypad or emergency release) drops the field and releases both doors. This fail-safe release behaviour is standard for electromagnetic locks and is why they're typically wired through fire alarm interfaces on escape routes — confirm against the site's fire strategy before specifying.
Since the lock is dual-voltage, it drops into most existing 12V or 24V access control installations without a separate PSU swap.
