At 10m, this is a distance where signal integrity starts to matter — the thicker AWG conductors and triple shielding are there specifically to keep the run clean at length, and the ferrite cores help where the cable runs alongside PoE switches or DC leads in a 19" rack. Ethernet channel support means it can also carry IP control data over the same lead where the connected hardware supports HEC.

Useful for control room installs pulling NVR or DVR HDMI outputs through to a separate display or projector, or for any job where the standard 1-2m lead supplied with the hardware simply won't reach.
