10m HDMI 2.0 AOC for NVR-to-monitor runs
This is a 10m HDMI-A male to male active optical cable (AOC), built for 4K NVR outputs that need to reach a monitor further than passive copper can carry cleanly.
HDMI 2.0 High Speed certified, it runs 4K@60Hz (3840x2160) 4:4:4 at 18Gbps, with HDR, ARC and CEC support. HDCP 2.2, Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio are supported for control-room AV chains.
Construction
Hybrid OM3 fibre + copper build, 4.5mm slim OD, Kevlar reinforced for plenum and conduit pulls. Gold-plated connectors with double shielding — no external power supply is required to run the link. Pull-eye connectors are rated to withstand 10kg of tension, so they'll take a proper conduit pull without damage.
Install notes
Signal is unidirectional — install source-to-display, not reversed. The cable is backward compatible with HDMI 1.4 for 1080p sources where mixed-generation kit is still on site.
Operating range is -20°C to 70°C, which fits permanent installs in racks, risers and non-climate-controlled spaces. EMI/RFI immunity over this construction is stated as better than passive copper at 10m — relevant where the run shares tray space with PSUs or Cat6.
Where it fits
Typical use is linking an NVR HDMI output in a rack to a remote monitor or video wall panel in a control room, on runs where a standard copper HDMI lead would be marginal at 4K60.
