Where it fits on a CCTV job
This cable extends the reach of USB-powered peripherals — printers, card readers, cameras — beyond their stock lead length. On CCTV installs it's used to run a USB-powered camera or accessory out to a PC or hub that sits further away than the supplied cable allows, in home, office, or CCTV settings.
Before you fit it
Check both ends of your existing setup are USB A male and USB A female — this cable does not adapt to USB-C or micro-USB.
