This is an unmanaged, plug-and-play Fast Ethernet switch for small CCTV drops. Four PoE ports power IP cameras directly; the uplink port runs back to an NVR, router, or core switch. No configuration is required — devices are detected automatically on connection.

The 300m extend mode is the headline figure for installers running cable further than standard 100m Ethernet limits allow — useful on perimeter runs, warehouses, and car parks where the cabinet sits well away from the camera. Note that extend mode drops link speed to 10Mbps per port, which is generally sufficient for single IP camera streams but worth factoring into bandwidth planning on multi-camera runs.

With a 35W total PoE budget across four ports, this isn't intended for four cameras simultaneously drawing full 30W each — plan camera load against the shared budget rather than per-port maximums alone.
