Port count and power budget

24 × 10/100 Mbps PoE ports carrying IEEE 802.3af/at, up to 30 W per port, on a total PoE budget of roughly 230 W. That budget decides how many 802.3at (PoE+) devices you can load before you need a second switch or a hybrid PoE injector strategy — check camera draw against the 230 W ceiling before speccing a run.

Uplink and backhaul

One Gigabit RJ45 uplink and one Gigabit SFP fiber port are provided, so you can backhaul to an NVR or core switch over copper or fibre without eating into the 24 access ports. Switching capacity sits at approximately 8.8 Gbps with a forwarding rate of about 6.547 Mpps, on a store-and-forward Layer-2 unmanaged architecture — no VLAN or QoS configuration, straight plug-and-play deployment.

Cable runs

Extend mode pushes PoE transmission out to 300 m, which matters on sites where the cabinet sits well back from the cameras — perimeter fencing, warehouse floors, multi-building sites — without adding a repeater switch mid-run.

Physical

Metal enclosure suited to rack, desktop or wall mounting, so it drops into a comms cabinet or sits on a shelf in a plant room without extra brackets.

Unmanaged design means zero configuration overhead on install — power up, patch in, done. Suited to medium-to-large IP camera deployments where 24 Fast Ethernet PoE ports plus dual Gigabit uplink cover the access layer cleanly.
