S4A Exit-Button-Touchless-with-Backplate-SQUARE is an infrared request-to-exit switch for access-controlled doors, specified where a no-contact release point is preferred over a mechanical push.

How it works

An infrared proximity sensor detects a hand pass in front of the panel and outputs a release signal to the door controller, which in turn drops the electric lock or magnetic lock. No mechanical actuation means no wear on a physical switch mechanism.
