What it does

The DRB044S-PTE is a manual press-to-exit switch: press the green dome and it sends a release signal to whatever is holding the door — electric strike, magnetic lock or door controller. It is an exit-side accessory, not a lock or controller, so it must be wired into an existing access control setup to function.

It is suitable for indoor installation only. On activation it simply outputs a release signal to the connected locking hardware; it carries no logic or scheduling of its own, so timing and monitoring remain the job of the access controller it's wired to.
