The Hikvision DS-2CD1383G2P-LIUF/SL is an 8MP dual-lens panoramic turret network camera designed for wide-area surveillance requiring seamless ultra-wide coverage. The camera uses dual 1/2.4" progressive scan CMOS sensors with image stitching technology to deliver a combined panoramic video resolution of 4256 × 1888 and a full 180° horizontal field of view. This allows monitoring of large areas such as parking lots, building perimeters, warehouses, intersections, and open public spaces using a single camera. The fixed 2mm dual-lens configuration provides comprehensive coverage while reducing installation complexity and eliminating blind spots associated with single-lens cameras. Smart Hybrid Light technology integrates infrared and white light illumination with a range of up to 30 metres, enabling both discreet IR monitoring and full-colour night surveillance. This model includes built-in two-way audio functionality with integrated microphone and speaker, allowing real-time communication and active deterrence. The camera supports audible warnings and flashing white strobe light to deter intruders when human or vehicle detection events occur. Intelligent classification improves recording accuracy and reduces false alarms. Power over Ethernet (PoE) allows power and data transmission through a single network cable, simplifying installation. The camera also supports onboard microSD storage up to 512GB. The IP67-rated enclosure ensures reliable outdoor operation under harsh environmental conditions.
