Product Description
What it is
A three-piece BNC male crimp connector for terminating RG59 coaxial cable on analogue and HD-over-coax CCTV runs (HD-TVI, AHD, CVI). Metal-bodied throughout for durability and consistent signal path.
Build — three components
- Connector body — the BNC male shell that mates to camera, DVR or monitor BNC ports
- Centre pin — seats the coax core conductor for continuous signal path
- Crimp sleeve — clamps over the braid/jacket for mechanical retention
Crimping (rather than screw or twist-on types) gives a fixed mechanical joint once terminated, which generally holds up better under cable pulls and vibration than compression-free alternatives — a standard coaxial crimping tool is needed to terminate correctly.
Where it's used
Suited to RG59 cable runs on analogue CCTV and HD-over-coax formats. Use on new cable assembly, first fix termination, or when replacing a damaged plug during system maintenance. Compatible with any standard BNC female port on cameras, DVRs and monitors.
Fitting notes
Because this is a crimp type, a coaxial crimping tool matched to RG59 and BNC crimp connectors is required — pin and sleeve dimensions are matched to RG59's core and braid diameter, so it isn't intended for other cable gauges such as RG6.
Installer note
Sold as connectors only — no cable, tool or termination service included.

Frequently Asked Questions
What cable gauge is this connector designed for?
RG59 coaxial cable, which is the gauge commonly used in CCTV installations.
Do I need a special tool to fit it?
Yes — a standard coaxial crimping tool is required to terminate the connector body, centre pin and crimp sleeve correctly.
Will it work with HD-over-coax cameras, not just analogue?
Yes, it's suitable for analogue CCTV as well as HD-over-coax formats including HD-TVI, AHD and CVI.
What's included in the pack?
The three-piece connector itself — connector body, centre pin and crimp sleeve. Cable and crimping tool are not included.
