DS-2CD1383G2-LIU: 8MP turret with dual illumination for spec-driven installs
The DS-2CD1383G2-LIU is an 8MP (3840×2160) fixed turret on a 1/2.7" progressive scan CMOS sensor, built for jobs needing high-res detail plus intelligent VCA on a standard PoE run.
Lens and field of view: fixed 2.8mm optic gives a 113° horizontal field of view — suited to entrances, forecourts and open perimeter runs rather than long throw.
Illumination: Smart Hybrid Light switches between IR and white light automatically depending on ambient conditions and detection events, with illumination coverage up to 30m — useful where colour identification at night matters as much as detection range.
Analytics: onboard human and vehicle classification filters out irrelevant motion (animals, foliage, weather) at the edge, cutting false triggers before they hit the NVR or VMS.
