Why it's relevant on a CCTV job
Recorders, monitors, PoE switches and their chargers are usually grouped in one spot, often some distance from the mains point. Six sockets on one 5m run covers that cluster from a single outlet, avoiding daisy-chained short strips near a recorder rack.
This is a general-purpose mains accessory, not a CCTV-specific product — it carries no rating or certification beyond the standard UK 13A fused plug and 220–240V AC operation stated above. Use it for powering recorders, monitors, switches and similar indoor equipment; it is described for indoor applications only.
