Product Description
The DS-2CE72DFT-F28-R is a 2 MP ColorVu fixed turret camera built for 24/7 full-colour imaging rather than switching to mono IR at night.
Key specs
- 2.8 mm fixed focal lens
- Warm supplemental light, rated to a 20 m range
- 130 dB true WDR for clear imaging against strong backlighting
- 3D DNR for clean, sharp images in low light
- IP67 water and dust resistant housing
- 4-in-1 output: switchable TVI/AHD/CVI/CVBS signals
The 4-in-1 signal switching means this turret drops into TVI, AHD, CVI or CVBS-based systems without swapping hardware — useful when matching an existing DVR estate on an install. The warm supplemental light is what drives the full-colour output after dark, working alongside the 130 dB WDR engine to hold detail in mixed or backlit scenes. 3D DNR further reduces noise so recorded footage stays usable for review rather than degrading into grain.
Housing is rated IP67, so it's suited to external mounting where water and dust ingress is a concern. The fixed 2.8 mm lens gives a set field of view — there's no varifocal adjustment on this model, so confirm coverage against the intended scene before specifying it for a job.
