Prysmian 6242Y, 1.5mm² grey twin & earth, BASEC-approved, sold per metre from drum stock. Used here as the 230V mains feed to CCTV PSUs and small distribution boards — not for camera signal, which runs on Cat5e/Cat6 or coax alongside it.
Construction
- Two plain annealed class 1 solid copper conductors, 1.5mm², colour coded brown (line) and blue (neutral)
- Bare copper circuit protective conductor (CPC) for earth continuity
- Grey PVC outer sheath, flat profile
