Overview
The Edatec Black CNC Aluminium Case is a fanless enclosure for the Raspberry Pi 5, machined from solid aluminium with an integrated passive heatsink structure. It suits Pi 5-based compute nodes deployed inside cabinets, kiosks or NVR housings where a fan is a maintenance liability.
Cooling
There is no fan on this enclosure. The CNC-machined aluminium body itself is the heatsink — heat from the processor and key components transfers directly into the case surface and fins for dissipation. This gives silent, fanless operation, suited to installations where noise and moving parts are undesirable.
