Construction
- 4-pair UTP, solid pure copper conductors — not CCA — for lower resistance on longer external runs, relevant where PoE powers an IP camera or AP at the far end.
- Black LDPE/PE weather-resistant outer sheath, rated for ducts, building exteriors and catenary (suspended wire) runs.
- 100m reel with metre marking for measured pulls and distance-to-fault identification during certification.
Performance
Supports 10/100/1000 Mbps Gigabit Ethernet across all four pairs when terminated correctly, meeting Cat5e channel requirements for data, VoIP and IP video over copper.
Compatibility
Mechanically and electrically compatible with standard Cat5e RJ45 plugs, patch panels, keystone jacks and surface boxes — Connectix or other structured cabling vendor hardware — so it drops into existing Cat5e first-fix or containment without a change of termination standard.
