Rated for external use in ducts, on catenary (suspended support) wires, and surface-fixed along external wall runs — anywhere a Cat5e link has to cross open ground or the outside of a building rather than staying inside.

Compatibility

Terminates onto standard Cat5e patch panels and modules; the manufacturer notes compatibility with Connectix Enhanced Category 5 patch panels, modules and networking components for a matched system, supporting consistent Ethernet performance across all four twisted pairs.
