The PXB-610G is a junction box that houses camera cable terminations rather than leaving them exposed. It mounts behind or beside the camera, giving the cable joins, connectors and any spare cable coiled during termination a proper enclosure instead of a bare joint hanging off the back of the mount.
What it does
On a typical install, the termination point — where the camera's pigtail meets the run cable — is often the weakest point in the whole cable path. Left exposed, that joint is subject to knocks, dust ingress and general wear over time. The PXB-610G addresses this by giving the joint a housed location.
