Sizing before you spec it

Total output is a shared 5A pool across all five ports, not 5A per port. Add up the rated current draw of every camera going on this unit — including IR load, which pulls more current at night — before committing it to a job. Undersizing the supply relative to combined camera draw is a common cause of night-time flicker or dropout on IR cameras, so leave headroom rather than running at the ceiling.
