Product Description
The IPBOX 600×500×200mm Steel CCTV Cabinet is a wall-mounted steel enclosure for housing a DVR/NVR, PSU and PoE switch behind a lockable door. Built for installers who need to get recording infrastructure off the desk and into a controlled, mechanically protected space at first- or second-fix stage.
Key specs
- External dimensions: 600mm (W) × 500mm (H) × approx. 200mm (D)
- Construction: powder-coated steel
- Access: lockable front door
- Mounting: wall-mounted, above floor level
- Fit for: DVR, NVR, power supplies, PoE switches, cable termination equipment
Installation notes
Internal volume is sized for a typical single-DVR/NVR install alongside a PSU and PoE switch, with room left for structured cable routing rather than a loose coil behind the recorder. Cable entry is via glands or conduit fitted to suit the site, so plan entry points before mounting.
Mounting above floor level keeps the recorder out of dust and away from casual interference in corridors, plant rooms, offices or comms cupboards — useful on jobs where the NVR can't sit in a rack or cabinet the client already controls access to.
Where it fits
This is a wall enclosure, not a rack. Treat it as a lockable wall box for a self-contained DVR/NVR-plus-PSU setup rather than a multi-unit rack replacement.
