The UKVISION 16-Port Gigabit PoE Switch with 2 Uplink Ports is designed for professional IP surveillance and network installations. It provides sixteen Gigabit PoE Ethernet ports, allowing IP cameras, wireless access points and other PoE-powered devices to receive both power and data through a single Ethernet cable. The switch also includes two dedicated Gigabit RJ45 uplink ports, enabling high-speed connection to an NVR, router or core network switch without reducing available PoE ports. This configuration is commonly used in CCTV systems where multiple IP cameras are connected directly to the PoE switch while maintaining a stable uplink to the recording device. Supporting 10/100/1000 Mbps auto-negotiation, the switch automatically adjusts connection speed based on the connected device. Auto MDI/MDIX ensures compatibility with both crossover and straight-through Ethernet cables, simplifying installation. The device supports MAC address self-learning and automatic ageing, allowing efficient traffic forwarding across the network. With a switching capacity of up to 36 Gbps, it provides reliable performance for high-bandwidth applications such as multi-camera surveillance systems. A one-key switch function allows users to enable VLAN mode or Extend mode, improving network segmentation or increasing transmission distance where required.
