The UKVISION UK-SW-8-100 is an unmanaged Layer 2 Fast Ethernet switch designed for small-scale network expansion where 10/100Mbps bandwidth is sufficient. The unit provides eight RJ45 ports supporting 10/100Mbps auto-negotiation, allowing automatic adjustment to connected devices such as IP cameras, NVRs, routers, and workstations. All ports support Auto MDI/MDIX, eliminating the requirement for crossover cables and simplifying installation in mixed network environments. The switch uses MAC address self-learning and auto-aging to maintain an efficient forwarding table, ensuring accurate frame forwarding across connected devices. Based on a standard store-and-forward switching mechanism, the device filters invalid packets and maintains stable data transmission for basic network infrastructures. Its unmanaged design allows for immediate deployment without configuration, making it suitable for CCTV systems, small offices, and home networks. The compact standalone unit operates via a 5V DC power input and is intended for desktop or shelf installation within low-demand network environments.
