The RG59 Shotgun CCTV cable is a combined video and power cable designed for analogue security camera installations. Supplied on a 100 metre reel, the cable provides a convenient solution for connecting CCTV cameras to DVR recorders while also delivering power to the camera through the same cable run. The cable uses a Siamese (shotgun) design, consisting of an RG59 coaxial cable for video signal transmission and an integrated twin-core power cable for supplying power to the camera. This combined construction allows installers to run both video and power through a single cable route, reducing installation time and simplifying cable management. This thin RG59 shotgun cable is designed to be more flexible than standard thicker variants, making it easier to route through conduits, trunking and wall cavities during installation. RG59 shotgun cables are widely used in analogue CCTV systems, including HD-TVI, AHD, CVI and CVBS surveillance cameras connected to DVR recorders.
