The Hikvision DS-2DE5232IW-AE(S6) is a professional 2 MP PTZ network speed dome camera designed for long-range surveillance in large outdoor environments such as roads, public squares, airports, industrial sites and perimeter security systems. It uses a 1/2.8″ progressive scan CMOS sensor capable of delivering video resolution up to 1920 × 1080, ensuring clear and stable image quality for monitoring wide areas. The camera features a 32× optical zoom lens (4.8–153 mm) combined with 16× digital zoom, allowing operators to capture detailed images of distant objects while maintaining a wide viewing range for general surveillance coverage. For night operation, the integrated infrared illumination provides visibility up to 150 metres, enabling monitoring in complete darkness. The camera incorporates DarkFighter low-light technology, improving image performance in challenging lighting environments. The PTZ mechanism supports 360° continuous pan and tilt movement from −15° to 90°, allowing flexible camera positioning and automated patrol functions. It supports up to 300 preset positions, patrol scans and pattern scans, enabling efficient monitoring of multiple locations from a single camera. Advanced video processing features such as 120 dB wide dynamic range (WDR), 3D digital noise reduction, defog, HLC and BLC improve image clarity in difficult lighting conditions.
