The RJ45-CAT6-1M-REEL-RED-23AWG provides premium outdoor CAT6 U/UTP connectivity with 23AWG solid bare copper conductors optimised for high-bandwidth IP surveillance networks and PoE-powered security devices. The unshielded 4-pair twisted pair construction complies with ANSI/TIA-568-C.2 Category 6 standards, delivering 10GBase-T Ethernet to 55m, 1000Base-T to 100m, and Power over Ethernet up to IEEE 802.3bt Type 4 (90-100W) with minimal performance degradation. Red polyethylene (PE/LDPE) outer sheath offers superior UV/moisture resistance compared to indoor PVC, enabling aerial catenary wiring, external duct installations or direct facade mounting per local mechanical support codes. The heavier 23AWG conductors provide lower resistance and insertion loss versus standard 24AWG cable, preserving PoE budget and Gigabit margins on extended external runs between network cabinets and field IP cameras, outdoor wireless APs or access control readers. HDPE insulation maintains pair separation for excellent crosstalk performance (NEXT/PSNEXT), while sequential metre marking on the jacket simplifies Fluke/DSX certification and inventory tracking. 6.2-6.8mm overall diameter fits 20-25mm conduit and IP67-rated RJ45 outdoor glands. Supplied as 1m reel-cut sections for termination with precision CAT6 RJ45 plugs, keystone modules or IDC patch panels, creating compliant structured cabling permanent links or patch leads.
